About the Lyntiq AI bot

If you see this user agent in your server logs, someone entered a page of your website in Lyntiq AI to get an audit:

What it does

It only visits when a person requests an audit. It never crawls on its own.
Per audit it requests the submitted page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and up to 8 links from that page to see whether they resolve. At most 10 audits per domain per hour.
A Pro audit also reads up to 9 more pages of the same website, one request each: first pages listed in its sitemap, then pages linked from the submitted page, then pages linked from those. It has at most 3 requests open at once, skips files and addresses with a query string, waits as long as a Crawl-delay in robots.txt asks (a delay over 5 seconds means it reads only the submitted page), and stops when the site answers 429 or 503. At most 3 such audits per domain per hour.
It reads robots.txt first and follows it. It sends no cookies and submits no forms.
The page content is used for that one report. The report and a short excerpt of the page text are stored so the report keeps working at its own link; nothing is harvested or republished anywhere else.
